How to give a best gift?
Best gift: Today we will talk on how this topic. There is an incident which inspired me to write this small article, which is also explained in it.
Most of the people assume that only the expensive materials are gifts. Like expensive watches, vehicles, gold rings, Chinese etc. Now a days, expensive gifts trending is on high. But it’s in true sense, the gift value doesn’t depend on money or how expensive it is, in fact you can’t measure the value of gift with money. It’s important to remember that, what you are giving is less important than how you are giving it.
If you want the receiver to feel happy and give space in their heart, give them something that represent their personality, which has some emotion in it. Some gift which tell them, how much you car for them.
Give them a simple drawing, line drawing of their face, small painting of them with a greeting card. These gifts more valuable than the gifts you are spending highly like thousands and lacs. A drawing or painting portrait which is hand painted and created by artists, has feelings in it unlike the materialistic things which are costlier.
You have two options:
Spend too much and give it with no feelings or Even if it is cheap, add personal touch and give it with heart fully and happily.
Few days ago, my friend was discussing with me, about an incident of his roommate.
His roommate, Nihal (changed the name), works in an IT company and earns around 25K per month. Nihal wanted to gift a gold chain for his girlfriend on her birthday. So he has borrowed some more money from my friend and gifted her 10gm gold chain on her birthday. Few months later, unfortunately they had to broke up for some reasons, as the girl’s family was not ready to accept Nihal.
I am not saying this happens for everybody, but I am just discussing like what is the use of that gift which you are spending whole your salary and borrowing extra money on top of it, and at the end of the day you don’t have money to buy a piece of bread.
I don’t think Nihal was happy while borrowing money! Of course nobody wants to borrow money. And it’s sure that he was not having sufficient money for that whole month for himself and his requirements.
Actually this was the incident inspired me to write this small article on gifts.
Giving gift should make people happy, not just the receiver but also the giver. Gifts giving are for celebrating occasions and special days, but not for sufferings. So friends, don’t ever think giving gifts means only the expensive materials.
